After a seven-year wait, Cardi B has finally announced the release of her highly anticipated second studio album. Titled "Am I The Drama?", the new project is set to drop on September 19th.

The album's distinctive artwork features Cardi in an elaborate red dress, surrounded by two large feathers. In an Instagram video, Cardi opened up about the personal journey that led to this moment, saying: "Seven years and the time has come. Seven years of love, light and loss. Seven years I gave them grace, but now I give them hell."

Cardi explained that she had been waiting on several high-profile features before finalizing the album. As she previously stated on X Spaces, "I really need these fucking features. And it's like I'm not really trying to press or go crazy on these artists because I love them down. But it's like come on now! I need that! I need that right now!"

Last Friday, Cardi released the first single from the album, titled "Outside." On the track, she takes aim at her estranged husband Offset, rapping lyrics like "Good-for-nothing, low-down dirty dogs, I'm convinced / Next time you see your mama, tell her how she raised a bitch." She also makes reference to her new boyfriend, NFL player Stefon Diggs.

With seven years of personal growth and evolution behind her, Cardi B is ready to deliver her most raw and authentic work to date on "Am I The Drama?". Fans have been patiently waiting, and the anticipation is palpable as we countdown to the album's September 19th release.
