J. Cole Shares Two More Unreleased Kendrick Lamar Songs in "Inevitable" Series

In a bittersweet move, J. Cole is nearing the end of his intriguing "Inevitable" audio series. Over the past few weeks, Cole has been generously sharing rare and unreleased material with fans, and the latest installment is no exception.

Just yesterday, Cole dropped the seventh episode of "Inevitable," which included two never-before-heard collaborations between him and Kendrick Lamar. These tracks were apparently slated to appear on a joint project the two were working on around 2010, but it never materialized.

The first snippet features production from Oddisee and has a head-nodding vibe. Kendrick makes references to the infamous "Malice at the Palace" brawl between the Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons. The second teaser is a longer, more atmospheric and wavy banger, showcasing the effortless chemistry between the two rap titans.

Fans have been clamoring to hear this mythical Cole and Kendrick collaboration for years, so these snippets are a real treat. Given the ups and downs in their relationship over the years, it's unclear if we'll ever get the full versions, but for now, we'll gladly take what we can get.

Unfortunately, the "Inevitable" series is nearing its end, with just three more installments scheduled for release on December 5th, 9th, and 12th. The finale will include a two-part breakdown of Cole's acclaimed 2014 Forest Hills Drive album, as well as teasers for other upcoming projects like KOD, The Off-Season, and 4 Your Eyez Only.

This first season of "Inevitable" will undoubtedly be bittersweet for fans who have relished the opportunity to dive deep into Cole's extensive catalog and creative process. But with the promise of more to come, there's plenty to look forward to from one of hip-hop's most revered and introspective artists.
