Lefty Gunplay Allegedly Arrested Just Minutes Before Rolling Loud Performance

It's been a tumultuous start to 2025 for rapper Lefty Gunplay. The California-based artist was set to take the stage at the Rolling Loud music festival this past weekend, but was reportedly arrested just minutes before his scheduled performance.

According to footage obtained by No Jumper, Lefty Gunplay appears to be placed in handcuffs by law enforcement shortly before he was slated to hit the Rolling Loud stage on Sunday, March 16th. While the details around his arrest remain unclear, Rolling Loud organizers confirmed via Twitter that Lefty Gunplay would no longer be performing, with Stunna Girl taking his place.

This isn't the first run-in with the law for the 28-year-old rapper in 2025. Back in February, Lefty Gunplay was arrested in El Paso, Texas on charges including failure to wear a seatbelt, possession of a prohibited item in a correctional facility, and having a controlled substance. That incident also occurred as he was on his way to a scheduled performance.

Despite his recent legal troubles, Lefty Gunplay has been making waves in the hip-hop world. His contributions to Kendrick Lamar's recent album "GNX", particularly on the track "tv off", have earned him a growing fanbase and increased streaming numbers across his catalog.

Hopefully, Lefty Gunplay can put these recent arrests behind him and focus on his burgeoning music career. As a native of Baldwin Park, California, the Rolling Loud festival would have been a homecoming performance for the rising rapper.

The reasons behind Lefty Gunplay's latest arrest remain unclear, but we'll be sure to provide updates as more information becomes available. In the meantime, fans will have to wait and see if the OTR Records signee can avoid further legal issues and get his career back on track.
