The Exclusive Black Kobe Bryant Air Force 1 is Coming in 2024

Sneaker fans have a lot to look forward to in 2024 when it comes to Kobe Bryant's iconic Nike sneakers. This year has already seen the return of fan-favorite Kobe models like the 4 and 8, and now Nike is expanding the Kobe collection to the beloved Air Force 1 silhouette.

Following the release of a white Kobe Air Force 1 colorway, Nike is now set to drop a limited edition black version of the shoe. This new black "Kobe Bryant" Air Force 1 Low is limited to just 8,000 pairs worldwide, a nod to Kobe's original NBA jersey number.

The design features a premium black leather upper with debossed Kobe branding all over. The Swoosh is done in Lakers gold with a purple border, while the left and right heels feature an "8" and more Kobe-specific detailing respectively.

This black colorway is an entirely fresh take, drawing its appeal from the limited nature of the release. It's said to be launching alongside the previously-revealed white Kobe Air Force 1 on December 5, 2024, with a retail price of $150.

Sneakerheads will want to keep a close eye on the Nike SNKRS app for the release, as these are sure to be highly coveted and sell out quickly. With Kobe's legacy continuing to loom large, this special Air Force 1 is sure to be one of the must-have sneaker drops of the holiday 2024 season.
