The conversational AI market has exploded since the release of ChatGPT in late 2022, and is predicted to grow into a nearly $50 billion global industry by 2031. Amidst this rapidly expanding landscape, one company, Synthflow AI, is making waves with its focus on delivering enterprise-grade, easy-to-deploy voice AI solutions.
Synthflow AI: Tackling the Complexities of Voice AI
Synthflow AI, a Berlin-based startup launched in 2023, has already amassed over 1,000 customers and handled more than 45 million calls. The company's founders, Hakob Astabatsyan, Albert Astabatsyan, and Sassun Mirzakhan-Saky, were initially intrigued by the potential of OpenAI's ChatGPT API to build no-code business applications. However, they soon realized that voice AI was a far more complex challenge.
"We realized, oh my god, voice is really complicated, right? To actually make AI speak in real time like we do, having this 400 milliseconds latency, and handling interruptions, it turned out to be such a complicated task," Astabatsyan said. "We fell in love with this problem, and we said, look, we're gonna work only on voice bots from now on."
Enterprise-Grade Capabilities and Integrations
Synthflow AI's no-code platform allows enterprises to build and deploy customized, white-labeled voice AI customer service agents. These agents are both HIPAA and GDPR compliant, and can be integrated with over 200 enterprise platforms, including Salesforce, Twilio, and HubSpot.
The startup's focus on enterprise-grade features and seamless integrations has paid off, as it has seen 15x growth in the past year and over 90% retention from its enterprise customers. "We process 5 million calls monthly," Astabatsyan said, highlighting the platform's scalability and reliability.
Funding and Expansion
Synthflow AI's success has not gone unnoticed, as the company recently raised a $20 million Series A round led by Accel, with participation from existing investors Atlantic Labs and Singular. This funding will allow Synthflow to expand its team, boost research and development, and open its first U.S. office.
Luca Bocchio, a partner at Accel, praised Synthflow's founding team and their early focus on enterprise-friendly integrations, stating, "This team has [had] really strong views since the get-go about creating more depth with the technology and extensive integrations across CRMs, across tools enterprises may use to really provide enterprise-grade compliance."
In a crowded and rapidly evolving conversational AI market, Synthflow AI is carving out a niche for itself by delivering enterprise-grade, no-code voice AI solutions. With its focus on seamless integrations, compliance, and scalability, the company is well-positioned to continue its impressive growth trajectory and help enterprises harness the power of conversational AI.
