Brooklyn drill rapper Fivio Foreign has found himself in legal trouble once again. Earlier this year, Fivio pleaded guilty to making terroristic threats after an incident in New Jersey.
According to police reports, the incident occurred on New Year's Day 2025. Fivio allegedly pointed a gun at a woman after she asked him for help jumpstarting her car. He reportedly warned her, "If I see you parked in front of this building again there is going to be a fucking problem" while aiming the firearm at her.
Fivio was subsequently arrested on January 5th and hit with five charges, including unlawful possession of a weapon, terroristic threats, and aggravated assault. However, as part of his plea deal, the other charges are expected to be dismissed.
This is not the first time Fivio has faced legal troubles. He has previously been a vocal defender of Tory Lanez over the 2020 shooting incident involving Megan Thee Stallion. Fivio had stated on the My Expert Opinion podcast that he "fucks with Tory" and didn't believe Lanez had a gun.
Fivio is set to be sentenced in August, with his attorney hoping he will only receive probation given the several months he has already spent in jail. The rapper's legal issues come as a disappointing development, as he had been steadily building momentum in his career with hit songs like "Big Drip."
Fans will have to wait and see how Fivio's sentencing plays out and whether this incident will impact his musical future. As always, the hip-hop community will be closely following this developing story.
